Webinars

Coming in 2021...

We are currently in the process of restructuring our webinar offerings. Stay tuned for new content in 2021!

CDC-USBC Bi-Monthly Webinars

The CDC Division of Nutrition and Physical Activity and the USBC co-hosted this series of Bi-Monthly State Breastfeeding Webinars to bring together state/territorial/tribal breastfeeding coalitions to share best practices and news and to network and collaborate on issues of national significance.

Collective Impact Webinars

USBC hosted these webinars as part of its efforts to "engage stakeholders in a Collective Impact model" (USBC Strategic Framework Goal 3). With funding support from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, this series focused on building the capacity of the breastfeeding field to apply collective impact principles and tools to collaborative efforts for policy and practice change.

Power Tools Webinars

This series was part of USBC's training, technical assistance, and capacity building support for our network of breastfeeding coalition, national organizations, and community-based organizations across the United States.

Racial Equity Webinars

USBC hosted this series of bi-monthly webinars as part of its efforts to "create and model a culture of inclusion, diversity & equity" (USBC Strategic Framework Goal 4). With funding support from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the series focused on building the capacity of the breastfeeding field to apply both an "equity lens" to inform and guide our external strategies and activities, but also an "equity mirror" to examine our internal structures, culture, and policies.

National Breastfeeding Conference and Convening

The USBC's National Breastfeeding Conference & Convening brings together breastfeeding-focused representatives from across the country: coalition leaders from every U.S. state and territory; representatives from relevant government departments; national non-profits, non-governmental organizations including consumer (parents) groups; and health professional associations. This singular gathering assists with development of the leadership capacity to more effectively protect, promote, and support breastfeeding at the national, state, and local/community levels.
